Financial Aid + Awards

The Financial Aid + Awards office of Durham College and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology is dedicated to helping students achieve financial success while attending post secondary education. Our office administers several student financial aid programs, including the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP),  a variety of in-house bursaries and scholarships, and provides information on external forms of student financial assistance. 

We offer a variety of services with a goal to provide accurate information and guidance to all students pertaining to funding their post secondary education.

Services available are:

• OSAP and other Government Financial Aid Programs
• Student Awards, Bursaries and Scholarships
• Financial Aid Counselling
• On Campus Employment programs
• Living Accommodations (On and Off Campus Housing)

Short Term Assistance

To help qualified students experiencing short-term financial problems, the Financial Aid + Awards office at Durham College and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology may provide assistance to students.  Students are required to meet with a Financial Aid Officer to review available options.  Please call 905.721.3036 to book an appointment.

Tuition Deferments

Students are encouraged to pay tuition costs from their own and/or family resources. There may be some instances in which this is not possible. Click here for information on Payment Procedures and options available.
